Entry from: Salobrena, Spain Entry Title: "Spain- Salobrena, 5th August 2010" Entry: "Spain- Salobrena, 5th August 2010 Salobrena is undoubtedly the jewel in the crown of the coast to the west of Nerja- a tall hill which rises from a flat coastal plain, with sheer cliffs on one side and the town itself clinging to the steep slope on the other side. On top, a lovely intact Arab castle, with amazing views over the coast. The long nearby beach is divided by El Pennon, a dramatic bunch of rocks. If you visit, find the coast road to El Pennon and its holiday beaches, and then find the back road up to the castle, as its a much easier route than risking damage to your car trying to thread your way through the narrow streets of the old town. On the beach here they cook octopus over an open fire, as you can see in the last photo. On leaving Spain in the morning, we look back on five very hot weeks here- 30c-35c at lunchtime, and without the swimming pools (and air conditioning at night) life would have been more uncomfortable. The house here in Frigiliana has been wonderful, and the 15 metre pool right in the garden has been used by me at least twice daily. To help eat all this lovely food without getting even fatter, and as we have not got a tennis court here, I have increased my swimming to 18 laps daily ...

Nacho Vegas - Reloj sin Manecillas (Inedita) Actualizacion: En la presentación de Albalá, aparece en el setlist como "reloj sin manecillas". Hecho curioso sobre el video es que fué lo único que grabe y por merísima casualidad durante en todo el recital. Resultó ser que fue una de las inéditas de esa noche... gracias Nacho! Excelente concierto, un sueño hecho realidad y que pude presenciar también por una casualidad algo "forzosa", ya que me enteré del concierto cuando ya tenia trazado itinerario desde Almería a Málaga. Fué toda una odisea ir desde Malaga al blanco pueblo de Salobreña, debido a la incómoda hora de arribo a Málaga, y las casi 3 horas que tuvimos que sobrellevar en autobus hasta Salobreña. El regreso fué otra hazaña¨, pero después de NV nada mas importó.
