But in 2006, Ojeda decided to step out on his own, and issued his first ever solo release, Axes 2 Axes. Expectedly, the material reflects the heavy metal style of his full-time band -- in fact, Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider even drops by for a metallicized cover of the Beatles "Eleanor Rigby."
