Entry from: Buenos Aires, Argentina Entry Title: "The Feast at La Cabrera" Entry: "Tonight we headed out with some friends to La Cabrera. I had read a lot of reviews about La Cabrera, and was really looking forward to the experience. Since I am trying not to post too many pictures of the people on our trip (because the blog has to be public), get ready for a lot of pictures of food (on the bright side, I am learning that my new camera loves taking pictures of food)! We started off our meal with some amazing appetizers. We had olives stuffed with cheese, chorizo, a melted cheese dish and plenty of wine and beer. Then it was time for steak...which is pretty much the reason why we came. Steve and I learned a very important phrase in Spanish before we left on our trip "bien cosida" (well done). The waiter cant help but laugh at us when we order the steaks well done...but they definitely arent laughing at our Spanish. It was a good thing that the waiter told us that a steak was big enough for 2. We couldnt even finish the one we shared. The best part of the meal were actually all of the side dishes that came with our meal, and the eggs and french fries side dish we ordered.
