Quick road trip through Cades Cove in the Great Smoky Mountains. If there was one thing the government did well, it is our National Park System. Cades Cove is located in the Tennessee side of the park, but adjacent to the North Carolina border. It is a good hours drive from Knoxville to the Coves one-way driving loop. This is THE best place I have visited for viewing wildlife, especially deer. There are some segments that could elevate blood pressure in deer hunters, so youve been warned! The zoom function was maxed out for alot of this footage, and the lighting was not the best at times, being close to sunset. I used the tripod as much as possible, but there is often the surprise factor, as you will notice. I did catch a brief glimpse of a black bear, but it was on the move and out of range of the cameras best focus. Ive seen coyote on previous trips, but not today. After my opening comments, the goal was to make this "quiet" footage, but you can hear other visitors on some of the clips. BTW, there is a federal law regarding approaching wildlife; that was not an issue here. The wildlife was either adjacent to the road anyway, or I used the cameras abilities to get the shot. As of February 2010, it is legal to carry concealed firearms in National Parks, as long as you are also in compliance with firearms laws in the state where that park is located. - Rallye San Vicente 2009 - Rallye entre comillas, al ser un rallysprint camuflado debido a ser un unico tramo el disputado, dandole dos pasadas a cada sentido. Un pequeño retraso azoto a la prueba, asi como un poco de desorganizacion al abrir la carretera donde los coches de los aficionados se mezclaban con la caravana de seguridad. Tambien se practico una especie de superrallye, dejando correr a pilotos que no habian acabado el primer tramo. En cuanto a lo deportivo, destacar el abandono de Jose Manuel Gomez que tubo un accidente al llegar a la salida del primer tramo, al calentar ruedas, dejandole el campeonato de rallyes, el unico campeonato del que no era ganador, muy complicado. La prueba fue para Matador, seguido de Eloy Entrecanales, que pese a intentarlo, el ultimo tramo con un poco de agua en la carretera le lastro. Y tercero fue Javier España aunque ya alejado de los tiempos de cabeza.
